I've thought about doing this also, but am curious if it would void my warranty.

I have the CGS intake and I recently took my car to be serviced at the dealer. They still honored the warranty and it wasn't even the dealer that I purchased my HHR from. Although that doesn't mean that every dealer will. The reason that the dealer still honored the warranty is because the intake doesn't alter the engine in any way, it just replaces the stock setup.(It bolts on in minutes) . At this point it does't even matter anymore, the HHR has 40,000 +, the warranty has expired . I can tell you this car loves the IMCO muffler + the intake. Whatever your choices, good luck with your mods.

The CGS Intake WILL NOT VOID the warranty. Ive been debating whether to get it ot wait for different one. I've talked to mike via email about it and it will definitiely not void the warranty. I've also talked to other owners that have it and they also recomment the outlaw filter for it because it will breathe alot easier. Good luck in making the decision
