Smile Confirmation for 2.0ss or 2.4 exhaust manifold

Need confirmation, I own a 2009 HHR Panel 2.2, I would like to know if the 2.0SS or 2.4 exhaust manifold from a cabolt SS would be better than what I presently have.

Thanks

Is there much performance difference between a 2007 2.2 and 2.4 exhaust manifold. I am considering putting a 2.4 exhaust manifold on my 2.2 engine, and is it a straight forward bolt on.

Aside from Physical routing of the primaries, the other thing would be to measure the inner diameter, if it is larger then that would present a opporunity for increased performance.

An old trick still used today for Super Comp cars is to extrude hone the headers by running media through them to basically open up the primaries. This could be an option so as long as not too much meterial is taken out.

I have not dug into the motor of this car, yet, but its a thought for me to do as we will probably own this car until its dead, or paid for.
