just wanting to know who has the front sway bar the only company i see that has them is summit racing I just want to know is this a pain to install or is it easy like the back sway bar witch I have on these now the one sway bar summit sells is lime green?

 

If you are using your HHR as a dailey driver the stock front bar is adaquate enough! If you are doing some weekend rally racing then you might consider a thicker bar! And by the way it is a "PITA" to change out !

 

the stock HHR does not have a front sway bar at all!!!

 

All HHRs come with a front antiroll bar.

The SS has one unit and all other spec HHRs have another.

It is a royal pain to change the bar, especially if youre auto.

summit racing has the front sway bar 26mm i have 5 speed and i been under my car lots of times i see no front sway bar

It's there ! See the rods that go to the lower control arm, on the other end is the bar. It is hiding from you

 

Your stock front bar is 25 mm. No need to go bigger. Larger will just make understeer worse.

BTW, GM hid it on you!! Look for the sway bar link off the strut that goes to the end of the bar. Follow the bar under the car.... Report back.

 

If yours doesn't have a Front Sway Bar you should be intitled to a Rebate ! All HHR's that I know of come with a Front Sway Bar ! Also that is why it is a "PITA" to install, it is tucked pretty well !

 

Yep, they all have a front sway bar. Look for the links off the front spendel aera and follow them to the sway bar.
