FULL cold air intake with cgs.
VERY ingenious! Although, I think the weak link in the chain is the metal tube under the hood. It will absorb LOTS of heat and will pass this on to the incoming cold air. I'd wrap it with insulation or replace it with something that doesn't conduct heat. Since my ride doesn't have factory fog lamps, I'm gonna drill out the plastic cover that takes its place. This should force cold air into the fender-well area where the factory snorkel can suck it up! No chance of inhaling water either!
Thanks for the idea Bro!!!

Got it! I thought it came OUT from the front, but it pulls backwards into the wheel well. The push in plugs are a pain to get out. I used the taper of my needle-nose pliers to push and pop them out. Thanks again.....gonna go for a spin and see if its turned into an SS....grin.
Great idea. AM looking forward to hearing how this works out. Should also be a little quieter I would think.
I have an Acura Integra and the cold air intake is in the exact same spot in front of the front tire and inside the liner. Has never gotten wet.
