Gibson Dual Exhaust

While wondering aimlessly through the internet I found a Gibson Dual Exhaust. Not sure if it will meet previously mentioned safety concerns thought.

This has been posted many times before. It is a misreresentation of a product that does not exist (you find this all over the internet.) The only system Gibson makes for the HHR is a single outlet model that exits in the stock location.

Hope it helps,

Don't feel bad Nick - there's no way you could possibly know this was brought up before...

.......unless you used the search engine!

Well assuming you want it for performance, don't go dual. It's more weight and it will just mess with the exhaust flow velocity. If you want it for the looks, go for it.

Funny you should say that. My wife was interested in the Mini Cooper, so we went looking this weekend. The S model (supercharged) has a single exhaust down the middle of the car that has a Y in front of the trunk, then splits into 2 mufflers and tailpipes. When I saw it, I immediately realized this was dumb. The Y would create turbulance, and they surely could have found a single muffler with the right amount of back pressure to avoid the weight of 2.

Off topic....

You will really like the Mini Cooper. My nephew has the "super limited edition" John Cooper model, with 207 HP.....quick is not a good descriptive word. And it dyno's real close to the advertised HP (witnessed from multiple vehicles..multiple times). Built solid by BMW (frankly it was a piece of junk from the Brits).

Well also remember, restriction is a way for manufacturers to control

1. Emissions
2. Power
