GMPP or CGS
GMPP or CGS
I want a new intake. I like the GMPP because of the looks and the fact it's not oiled. I found one for $360.00. I like the CGS and a lot of people have them. I found one for $213.00. The question, is the GMPP worth the differance?
If you are going to get one, get the GMPP. The CSG is worse than stock. Lots have them cause a former "vendor" here told everyone they were the greatest thing since sliced bread.
And they believed it.

The cgs is a great intake. to me i been running it for about 1 year gain some great power from it. the only thing bad about it is the filter it's oiled so get a weapon R filter or a dry flow from aem. the air temp ppl think it makes a big difference it dose not. as long as the car is getting air that matters and the flow of air. so from the cgs intake and the GMPP your looking at 1 degree in temp that's not going to change noithing.
well bro typing something like that your going to get reply's back and forth. GMPP is over priced stock the only thing different is the filter and the AIR BOX

It only draws air from the engine compartment. The filter is literally jammed next to the motor.
The stock is actually a very well flowing intake that draws cooler air from the outside. Is it perfect, no, but it's still a good design.
