The K & N cold air box air filter is listed for the 2.4L engine only. Any reason it won't work on my 2.2L? Anybody tried it?

Actually, I was looking at the cold air "box" kit. Not the O.E.M.replacement filter. To late anyway. I just ordered the Airaid box. should be awesome!
