Hey Muz to this Site. fasten your seat belt you in for a crazy ride. To answer your question I think you should check with a Vendor called SoCalHHR he helps us all out with questions and problems when it comes to an HHr. I my self think if you change anything on a new car it effects the warranty. Good Luck. Look in the Gallery and check out other HHr and what was done to them.

Once again Welcome.

I dont know for sure, but many have stated on here... not unless the mod can be directly related to or cause of the warranty issue in question. and it is the Dealers responsibility to prove such.

The basic answer is that none of that should effect your warranty. i beleave there is a sticky for the Magnuson Warranty Act which covers those things. I know SoCal HHR's, one of our supporting vendors has it on their company website.

The 25cent answer is that the manufacturer must prove the aftermarket item cause the problem. The only thing is that some dealers, this happened to me, will decide be trouble anyway.

Not really. You can sometimes get them, the OEM, on ebay for a decent price and they aren't that bad to install.
