New Muffler

I would like to put on a new Magnaflow Muffler no:14814. I would like to ask someone if this will fit before I buy the muffler? I have inclosed the web page of the muffler with the size of it.

It will fit...but it's gonna be LOUD!!! (Can you say Honda Civic?)

I'm running THIS one instead, with great tone (a little louder than stock), and anoticeable power increase.

Hope it helps,

Mike,
Are you going to sell the IMCO or is that the place to buy? Are IMCO tips good? My brother lives near there.

SoCal I'm surprised your not running the catback on yours?!?! I'm looking to do something with mine too. 1LT with a 2.2, but I would like to either hear one in person or at least have a sound clip before I order.

Hi Charles. I've been working with a supplier to get us a good price on the mufflers. Hopefully we will have it nailed down soon.

I'm not using an IMCO tip, and cannot find the tip we used online. The tip we liked is a double-wall fully welded tip and was like $70 (that's the tip alone!).

I think it would be better for us to leave it up to the owners to choose their tip at the local muffler shop. You would have a better selection, and can see the tip on your HHR in person before buying.

That looks like the best way to go.
