Hey all, glad to be here, hope to help you all out in the future. I bought my 08 HHR LS 2.2L a couple weeks ago. I have an 1/8th mile race track 5 minutes from my house, so I will be testing a lot of products. I ran 11.39 @ 67mph last week ALL STOCK. I installed the GMPP Intake yesterday and I am heading to the track in about an hour. I will let you all know the results of the intake. I know some have installed it, but I have read through and never read anything about performance numbers, so I'll share some with you. Thanks again for having me,

Jared

Good luck at the track. Are you running the AT or 5spd?

Im sure you will have a good time with it. However I wouldnt expect too much improvement with just that intake. Looks awesome though

Thanks HillsdaleHHR for the Big Welcoming.
Well, I just got back home. The HHR ran 11.359 @ 64.89 mph. It stood anywhere from the 11.35 - 11.39. But, I only made 5 runs , where last week I made 13 runs and had a best of 11.39 @ 67mph, and it was all over the boards from 11.391 - 11.496. Its strange that my MPH went down and my ET was better. The traction was the same, but the temp outside was much greater this week. Last week it was around 70 degrees, this week it was 83 degrees. Well, the air box did in fact make a differance, and I know it wouldn't be that big of a change. Its nice for a show piece, and it will add a little performance, you will have to make the judgement if its worth the $368.00. I like it and am happy with the look and performance gain.

If you really want to go all out, I would do exhaust next, then the 2.4 head, then a chip. Then injectors/throttle body if you want even more. Glad to see the car can take a good thrashing.
