well i have ran into a slight problem with the nitrous system, that is gonna set me back a bit. the shop that ordered it for me here locally screwed me over on the time it would be in and other stuff so i got to hold off on it a while. but i need to find a good dependible header, and some cams. does anyone know where i can get it?
Header= either from Cobalt Addiction or use a GMPP extrude honed. The pacesetter longtube or other long tubes are great but need to have a custom downpipe made. Cams= check with JBP. They have different staged cams. Some need tuning some don't. Just make sure you order ones that DO NOT need a tune. And they also have some nitrous grinds as well! |

Hey Jason, it's all good man! If you are into the tuner thing cool! My deal is bang for the buck.
People are saying this and that about the small liter motors. Yeah there impressive but what you see in NHRA is also limited by rules. No one knows what you could actually get out of a big cube V8. It wont matter soon though. Gas engines will be dead and gone unless you can afford 5, 6, or 7 dollar per gallon gas. Wish GM would get on the ball and pull there head out. They need to produce a diesel HHR that runs bio deisel! Hell a 4 cyl diesel in a HHR and we could pull something other than a shoebox. The MPG would be in the 40's. Man I want my HHR smellin like a Micky D's french fry goin down the road. Nah I dont cause then I would be hungry all the time and I boycott mcdonalds. |
Back on topic here.
Is a tune necessary after the nitrous is added? Will it change the A/F ratio enough to hurt the engine. I'd like to add a little power, but don't want to take a chance and damage it. |

Once agian. This was said in REFERENCE to the debate of z06 vs Shelby. The ONLY ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE car worth its salt is the Ford GT. Is that simple enough for one as picky as you to understand? If not please dear god let me know so I can clarify this more so it will shut your stupid complaining, picky a$$ up so we can get on with a decent discussion on NITROUS IN AN HHR! Gotdam people! Find another frickin thread or make one to discuss this further and leave this discussion to NITROUS ON AN HHR! :thumb:
Once again, you deny the content of your original post. Your original statement: "Only American car worth the time or money to me is the Ford GT." Only American car is an exclusive statement. Perhaps you may have "paid attention" in history class regarding the national anthem, but it appears you slept through English. You were called out for your rant and now you're back peddling trying to save face. Give it up. You've shown your colors in that rant. You can't seem to handle it when someone points it out. Grow up. |

Hey check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVzkltL_eYg How come when Dell wanted to emphasize the "horsepower" of their new XPS, they chose to have the ladies build-up an "old school" V8 and drop it in? By some people's reasoning, and considering their target market, shouldn't they have shown a 4 cylinder Honda engine being built and installed?... ...Maybe its because they know which engine design is more widely associated with higher power? Just wondering. Dell is pretty slick at marketing. |

Why do you so desperately feel the need to prove this guy wrong in every little thing he says? This is not a thread for you to b**ch at somebody else... This is supposed to be an informative thread on Nitrous systems. If that's all you got to say in here, I think I speak for all of us when I say WTF? Quit jacking the thread and grow up a little...

Even so, dude, think about it. Somebody starts reading it in hopes of finding some useful information, then boom, there's some arguing about some insignificant crap that is helping nobody.. I'm not trying to be rude, but it would be cool if you all just dropped it..
