Powder Coated Valve Cover

I was looking around on ebay and came across a powder coated valve Cover. This would be a great mod for us 2.2L

I'd call first. It doesn't specifically mention the HHR 2.2. I may be wrong but I think it may be different than the Saturn Ion 2.2.

Mike
Your right it doesn't mention the HHR and I was wondering the same thing, but it was a nice find.

I did some backyard research.

I looked at this pic, from the thread of 2.2 Spark Plug pictures :

Then compared to the powder coated pic:

When I worked at the Triumph Motorcycle shop as a mechanic, I learned a few things. I know that manufacturers will save a buck if they can use the same part on different models. An Example is the ecotec 2.2 is the same as the cavalier, Ion, Sunfire. But then again this is my opinion. I tried looking online to check GM Part numbers but no luck. I will try to call the local dealer to see if my assumptions are correct.

I really think they are the same. Maybe if I am quick about I can pull the valve cover off my 04 Cavalier 2.2 and check it with my HHR 2.2 without my wife knowing by morning.

Then I can assure that it is a match.
