Artie, after reading up on the available IMCO's it sounds like the T909 is the way to go with the 2.2. The installation will be easier for the exhaust shop since the pipe diameter is closer to stock. I also read in another post that IMCO and Cherry Bomb are one in the same. Many muffler shops carry the Cherry Bomb brand. You might want to check with some local muffler shops that carry the Cherry Bomb brand and have them install one of them that carry's the same specs as the IMCO brand. Just be sure to specify a turbo muffler design that's baffled and not a straight through glass pack.

Although I haven't been ble to verify this information, it wouldn't surprise me at all that they're the same company. After all, this is quite a common practice in industry. For instance, there are only a handful of DVD player manufactures in the world and they put a variety of brand labels on them anywhere from entry level to high end. The same holds true for tires, Bridgestone and Firestone are the same company. But you'll find many people who swear by Bridgestone and wouldn't touch a Firestone with a 10 foot pole, or the other way around. Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac.....all GM. Ford, Mercury, Lincoln.....all Ford. And the list goes on and on. - Dan

If the inlet size on the muffler you want isnt the same size as your exhaust, you muffler shop should be able to weld on a piece to enlarge or condense the size.

hey Reed good to here from you. Yep, I'm still around but just kinda laying low. Everything's great here in TN, we're finally sorta getting settled in.

We're working hard to get our shop up to par. We still have to add onto the building with an area large enough for a lift. So far it's only a 24x30 two car garage, we're going to add another 18' with 12' walls so we'll have room for the lift. When we're done the shop will be 13' wider than my shop in FL and 1' shallower (24' Vs 25'), but I think it will be big enough to do what I do...LOL

How's things on your end? If your ever in middle TN feel free to sto in. - Dan
