please... please don't do this system...

an axle turbo? seriously... i know that it might help with a bit of power, but they have to make the turbo so small because it's so far back in the system that by the time it does spool up, it won't be making much power... especially for the pricetag, wait for a real kit to come out...

not trying to knock heads... just my .02...

The turbo is not small, they include the t3/t4 turbo, spool up time is much quicker than you would think. I drove a car with an STS and it spools very fast for being rear mounted. If it spooled instantly, it would have major traction problems, also I have an automatic so boost would not be lost during shifts. There was a HHR 2.2 built when they first came out with an STS. I believe it made 290HP to the wheels. The Hahn kit will be $4K plus if and when they finish it. I might just go back to work on the hotrod until a direct kit comes out. I don't need the turbo now, I just get bored. LS

That would destroy the auto.

Thats true, but when it does you build the trans to take it. I certainly don't expect to not break anything. If you want to play you have to PAY! LS

Not yet it isn't, your probably going to have to wait a couple more months until it available.

just because it's a t3/t4 mount doesn't mean that it's a big turbo... the trim and inducer/exducer etc etc etc does more than the mount...

if you were to bolt on a true t3 turbo you'd get mid 300 hp easily... i'm not saying its a bad idea per say, just that it's way too complicated, and costly for the performance that you'd ultimately get from it...

yup

There is a 07 HHR for sale on www.chitownracing.com that has a cobalt supercharger on it, and it has HP tuning. So it must be possible? LS
