How can you have a poll about a object that no one has?

The same way a person can ask opinions on rims.

A person can ask if a certain rim will fit, yes or no.
A person can ask if a certain rim looks good on their ride, yes or no.
But the rim still has to exist, opinions don`t matter until then...
Until someone puts a contraption on their ride to piggyback the computer, no one can give an opinion one way or another.

That's because most of us aren't dumb enough to buy one of these stupid eBay "racing chips". There is no harm in someone that doesn't know what it is or if it would help any to ask before they waste their money. I mean this is like the 50th thread on this site about these things and they all have the same responses. Also it could be like in my case where I had to learn that there is no "chip" for the HHR. Coming from a Ford I could and did use a piggyback chip that connected to a slot on the main computer which it appears that you can't do on modern GM vehicles. You have to have your HHR's computer reprogrammed instead. It seems like Ford and GM's computer and electrical systems are two very different beasts.

You`re right, but that`s not a poll question.
Can I piggyback the computer, or can I use a chip? What part of opinion fits in here?

but the opinion poll doesn't ask "does anyone have this chip installed and does it work?"

The question is "Is The THOMAS RACING CHIP good for my HHR!?!?"

And the resounding answer is "no the chip is not good for the HHR"

Anyone worth their mettle in automotive tuning knows that a simple resistor on your sensors isn't going to help with gas mileage or longevity of the operation of the auomobile. So its not good. So your arguement is a moot point and you're trying to debate something that isn't in the poll question either.

I would say it works as good as the "Flux Capacitor" worked in the time machine,So I guess if time travel is what you want then go for it!
