Weapon intake

I have been doing some looking around and found that the Weapon Intake looks like the CGS and only works on the 2.2 motor. Anyone one else know anything about it? I like the "Look" and the price. I know I will be attacked with info about the "Hot Air" under the hood, Just want to know from those who have it or had it Thanks!!

Careful, Ive heard stories of that one causing a fault code and check engine light. Just be sure to get it from a good vendor if you really want it.

Yea, I read on the 2.4L forum that the 2.4 kept throwing codes and that they are only designed for the 2.2Ls.

Did you have any problems with codes? I read on the site and it said that some had problems with codes but only on the 2.4L Which on did you have the Weapon R or the Dragon?

Had the Dragon on my -06 2.2, worked fine in colder weather but sapped power in the heat. Was supposed to get the Secret weapon but was sent the wrong intake. the CGS seems to work better and flow more air.

Actually in this case, each dollar you spend, is spent on an intake that is worse than the stock one.

If you want an intake, the GM Performance one is good but expensive.
The Airaid that I have is shielded from most of the hot underhood air and not as much $$$. I dont think any of them will give much added power though.
