What's Your "Sweet Spot"

Yes, the title is supposed to sound somewhat inappropriate...that's what made you click on it right?

But seriously... I've been searching and searching, and I can't quite seem to find where people say what the sweet spot is in their car. Now I know each car is different, and I'm particularly talking about the 2.2, but if you have a 2.4 or 2.0 you can list it too.

I just want to know what other people have found to be their speed that is their "sweet spot".

If someone knows of a thread that has a lot of this mentioned, please direct me to it if possible. I tried searching, but couldn't really find any definitive answers. Besides, I'm more or less asking everyone if they know what there's is.

(With all the "sweet spots" I've said, this is SURE to be listed in the Dungeon...I tried making this as appropriate as I could...)

I haven't quite figured it out yet... I tried goofing around with the DIC at first, but now since I filled up I wanted to get an average on the tank, so I don't want to reset it.

I should be running through the gas soon, then I can play with my DIC some more. (Yes, I meant to say that. I'll be disappointed if no one puts that in the Dungeon!)

if you're talking speed, if i am cruising around 40 i can get great mileage. around 34+ mpg on a straight area as well as somewhere between 19-24 up this giant hill I drive on every day, it is a mile long solid incline.

I'f i'm on the e-way i keep it between 70-75, so i'm not usually trying for a sweet spot, but it seems to really vary day to day on that.

My sweet spot is 60 to 65 MPH

At 60 to 65 mine will get up to 39 MPG on level roads with no wind. I have not done much testing below those speeds but it is usually lugging the motor and worse mileage. I do have a little taller than stock tires so your sweet spot may be right at 60?
Also I have an altimeter and you would be surprised a road that "looks" level may in fact be a little up hill or down hill and it does make a big difference.
Wind also makes a big difference even if it is a crosswind.

My SS is sweet at any speed! If we're talking fuel economy, even at it's worst, it's still pretty good.
