ZZP downpipe question

this is the downpipe for my auto 2.2 that i got from ZZP i ordered it with an extra o2 for wideband when i eventually get it tuned..
now my question is, which one is which for the o2 sensors and which one do i plug up?
1, 2 or 3
im guessing #1 is an o2 slot i need and does it matter which one i plug up? (2or 3)?

I would put the HO2 in the one that is on the same side as the old pipe at least for wiring purposes. That would be 2, I believe. 1 is definitely HO2, 3 probably wideband.

Stock should have one fwd and one aft of cat....samplesbefore and after....wideband will want before cat, realtime and unchanged.

The wideband should be at least 12" away from the header. The sensor is sensitive to heat. Too much heat at it will burn up!

I'd use the rear for the wideband. The cat does not alter the reading IMHO.

But the computer needs a before and an after HO2 reading, putting the both at the same point would give you all kinds of trouble.

if you place it after the cat the readings will be off a slight bit....but it is too close the way its pictured...though if your only going to use the wideband for tuning and not puttering around town,,as in removing it, then you wont have any problems, but if you intend to make it permanent, be prepared to replace it a few times, and they can be expensive.

I was not talking about the wideband and the HO2 sensors, just the HO2 sensors. They MUST be one before and one after, not side by side. Unless there is a computer programming to bypass that part, then this whole discussion is moot, plug both top bungs, wideband after the cat no HO2 sensors needed.

The cat alters the reading of the HO2 sensors, it knows how much of a difference there should be, and changes other parameters accordingly. I don't know or care what the wideband sensor does.

Sorry to jump topic butter this is sort of related. So does this all mean that using an exhaust cut out is pointless? I see people showing them online all the time but would't going from suppressed exhaust to open exhaust aft of the cat cause the tuning to be outta wack?

If it's the HO2 error, it will come back. Did you get a real good seal on your plug.
