2.4 build

I am getting ready to build up my engine.

I'm going to finish the exhaust with header and DP
Custom build a new intake
Swap out the TB for a larger
Port the head, cam and tune.
And higher compression pistons to keep CR around 10.4:1 with larger cam

From my research Im ball parking around 300 at the crank with e85.

What do yall think the outcome will turnout to be?

Parts run less than 3000. I know some local shops than can dyno tune the bugger. And if I choose to go with out new pistons it's dang near a grand less. But it's better to over build than to rebuild.

Sounds like a plan.
Ought to make for a good "sleeper" wrapped in a plain package.

Check the ZZP website for short or long blocks for your project, same results and a warranty!
But I'm like you , more fun turning those wrenches yourself!

This might sound ridiculous, but how do you make a profile picture?

Sign up to be a Premium member. There is a small membership fee.
Helps support the site and it does get you some extras.

And explore your "User CP". Its in a dropdown from your user name (just below the Tire Rack ad).
