2.4 valve cover and CGS powdercoated chrome

I had my 2.4 valve cover and CGS powdercoated chrome. It's not a true chrom mirror-like finish, but WOW does it shine. Made a big difference in the CGS too. Just waiting for the engine to cool off enough to do the install. Thought I'd share some pre-install pic's.

Thanks all!

There is a very good possibility that The HHR Store will be offering this service. The projected charges would be $150 which includes a $75 core charge. I will be able to offer many different colors and either a smooth finish like mine or a wrinkle style like some have gotten elsewhere.

I just need to work out a few details and see if there is much interest. For those who still have the oem intake, we would be able to offer powdercoating of CGS intakes for $60. We will not be able to provide one, a core, at this time. If there is enough interest we would consider offering a core for the intake also.

IMHO at that projected cost, there will be some interest. Looking forward to choosing a color! (and getting permission)

And what would be the cost if I took mine off and drove it 2 miles over to your house and helped you?
