35 mpg!!

Took a trip to the Washington D.C. area from S.C. this weekend running almost all interstate the whole way. The HHR got 34.75 MPG with 89 octane in it on the way up. It got 32.41 MPG with 87 octane on the way back. No more than 5 mph over the speed limit until we got to D.C.

Very awesome, I may keep this car yet! This was even with the crazy autocross driving on I-495.

I love the mileage ours gets. We average 24.5 with a good mix of city and hwy. Not bad at all for hauling around the wife and kids!
