When I lived in Montana at 3600 feet they sold 85 octane because of this, I never burned it but I was told by those that did that they never noticed the difference except in the pocket book.

I live in Idaho and enjoy the extra power that the higher octane offers, I also get better mileage....I have noticed a difference....
