Catless downpipe

Quick question - about how much HP will a catless DP add to a 2.4?

138 views and no answer. I'll answer thanks to another forums member. 6-8 at the wheels. That's all I needed to know.

If you already have a catback I would suggest a highflow catted downpipe of 2.5". Otherwise your hhr will be loud as f*** and it will drone you out. Gains will be almost the same between the two anyway.

And if you don't already have one, add a Header.

Maybe 10 with the header?

I have to Pass Emissions testing here so I went to the high flo catted down pipe.

Alot more "Performance" info about our Ecotecs on the Cobalt forums, so responses tend to come quicker.

Bad Mab, ZZP have them.

Bad Mabs are $189.99, luckily I got mine slightly used and got it locally for $40.00.

I resurfaced the flange on my Delta Stationary Belt / Dist sander and it's good as new.

I think the guy I got it from had a exhaust leak and decided to buy yet another header instead of a 10 minute resurfacing job. I don't think he knew they could be resurfaced to reflatten the flange.

Took me maybe 10-15 minutes per side on my stationary belt sander to correct it.

Someone is selling a Bad Mab on the cobalt forums, I think they are asking $130.00 for it.
