Angry CGS intake bolt size?

I did a search and came up empty handed but... does anybody know what size the "the supplied support strut bolt" for the support strut is? Mine must have fell out of the box or something... I didn't get one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Depends on what motor you have. I have the 2.2L so mine did not use the stock bolt that came with mine. Here's an excerpt from my how-to that deals with bolt size. Hope this is some help.

For those who need to adapt to the 2.2L, you need a 6 X 50mm bolt with 1" pitch and a flat washer. I got those from Ace Hardware, as the one that comes with the CGS is just a tad short according to both Mike & CJ.

Thanks for the info....

I have a 2.4L motor. I'll try your bolt info and see if it works.

The CGS bolts are: M6 x 25mm w/1.0 pitch thread.

They come packages inside a heavy plastic bag inside the box which also contains the instructions.
(If you have instructions, you should have a bolt. Check the bag again.)

If you are installing the CGS on a 2.2L engine, you will need a bolt the same but 1 1/2" inches longer to fit down into the valve cover recess where the coil plate is.

Hope it helps,

Go back to where you bought it (so to speak) and tell them the bolt was missing or contact the manufacturer. Most will replace missing parts....
