My first post. Hope I'm at the correct place. Just bought a 2009 2LT HHR with a 2.4 motor. Are there chips available to increase performance? I have even looked at the Hawn turbocharger. Any body on the forum tried one of these yet ?

You might also consider PCM for Less, http://www.pcmforless.com/index.php?...d=56&Itemid=40. The have a great reputation, for testimonials do a search at trailvoy.com. They don't have a tune for a 2.2 though, only the 2.4.

Would you mind giving me a link to the Hahn Turbo post for a 2.4??? I remember he had a hard time finally getting it, haven't heard any final results...

Could be wrong....but I wasn't aware Hahn has a turbo for the 2.4. I thought one of our forum members, GDZHHR, is the test mule for that exercise. Could be wrong though.

I also wasn't aware there is a "CHIP" available for ANY of the engines in the HHR....since our vehcxiles do not have "chips", per se. Doesn't this type of mod. require the REPROGRAMMING of the ECM (unless of course you are speaking of those scams sold on e-bay for $25-$125).

 

At this time there is NO Hahn 2.4 torbo and may never be. I can't get them to return my calls or emails. My last contact with them was Bill Hahn threatened to return my car to stock, return my investment in the project and end the deal.

Went to their site and it is confusing. They list the HHR through 2009, but then say it will not work on 2008+. Any other suggestions?
