thanks guys. I live in Cincinasty with all the salt and grime so it looks like stainless for me!

. Gibson uses a muffler up where the stock resonator unit sits, and nothing but pipe all the way back. |

Both of Gibson's HHR cat-backs use a resonator and a muffler. I'll go back and edit my post. :( |
I thought I saw a How To for installing the exhaust system somewhere on this forum. Is it as straight forward as it looks? The SoCal page says installation is 1 hour or less, so it must be pretty simple.

Yeah the Gibson is about an hour or so..
If you happen to have a high speed cutter, such as a dremo tool with cut off wheel that will speed the process when you have to make a incision cut in the stock exhaust to remove it.. Make a cut in front of the rear axle.... |
Must it be cut? I was hoping to keep it intact.
|
The instructions mentions to make a cut ..
It will be difficult to remove it from the vehicle without being cut.. |

Mine went into the trash imediately, and was taken to the dump via trash truck in the next following days...

Mike can u get a soundclip of this system i may be interested but i want to hear one first. ;)
