how did GM get more hp this year?

OK so as it states on the chevy web site they are claiming 175hp and 165tq so what did they do different from last year to get more hp/tq? just want to hear from the guro's i mean those guys who should be working for nasa with their skills. unless its a simple they added a highperformance air filter.

better engine tunning on the ECU is where i bet they got the extra numbers. i would really love to find a dealership that would flash my ecu with the 07 code to see if there is any difference.

Undoubtedly, GM has been monitoring this site and it's resident "gurus"....

Surely, the 07's are now equipped with the CGS intake and IMCO T-924 muffler!!

Actually the 07's are rated with the new SAE standard. It is the same engine as the 06.
