I'm considering purchasing and installing a CGS intake in my HHR. I think the CGS looks better than the Air Raid and K&N options. I'm not looking for any real performance upgrade it's just for looks and for easier access to the oil filter during oil changes.

For those of you that have a CGS intake, how loud is it? I love how my HHR is quiet idling and smooth driving and don't want it to sound like a ricer. How does the HHR sound with the CGS vs. the stock intake?

 

My opinion, at cruising RPM's there is no noticeable sound difference. When you "put the heel to the steel", it does become louder.

i noticed no difference in sound while idleing (spelling). When you punch it then she comes alive.
