Intake + exhaust ordered

K+N intake and Magnaflow exhaust cat back. Ordered from a supporting vendor. Next item will be rear sway bar and after that springs either the lower rear or lower all around. May just be the rear since I'll most likely have to hire someone to put on the front if I do both.

I'm selling off a few guns in my safe to cover the costs.

The more I sell the more parts I'll be able to buy.

We'll bring the Corvette and HHR park them back to back and have a contest to see which one the crowd likes.
Gerry

Corvette has a Bassini and Varram intake.

Exhaust installed. Wife and I drive in together. Went to work stock muffler I ran out of work and had it installed ddin't tell her rode home she said nothing.

I like the sound. I'm sure it will get louder as it breaks in. looks good. No way to record the sound so you'll just have to drive over and see it. If you come remember to bring wine.

Had Minieke do the install. Big waste of money. I should have done it myself.

In my opinion, you should have had a custom exhaust made. It would have been cheaper and you can pick your own muffler and tip. The Magnaflow catback is made to install yourself, like you found out too late, but it's overpriced. I recently had dual exhaust put on mine, with SS mufflers and tips, for about the same price as the Magnaflow system. Single exit would be much cheaper of course.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there will be any break-in with Magnaflow mufflers. They use stainless steel mesh instead of fiberglass. I haven't noticed a difference with mine yet anyway.

Thanks for exhaust, K+N showed up today. That I will put on myself.
I had the exhaust done because my wife didn't want me back under another car. I tore my back up a few months ago when I switched the Corvette's exhaust.

Well...I suppose that's a good reason. ;)
As long as you get some enjoyment out of your HHR. I smile every time I start mine now.

i like the dual exhaust. Where did you get the rear bumper w/ the dual cutouts? Which muffler did you use? Who fabbed the system?
