Jet Performance Chip PCM

Does anyone know, good or bad, anything about the Jet PCM unit? They seem to be the only company that makes one for the HHR. The cost is $200+.
They have a stage 1 for stock and a stage 2 for modified engines. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know what you found, but when I went to Jet's site, they list no performance chips for the HHR.

Different site than what I'd found.

But damn, $320 + shipping! I think I'll stick to the Tune Time tune. It cost more but at least with that, I can change the tune as often as needed since they give lifetime re-tunes.

I'm getting ready to send it in for an update in the next couple weeks.

www.autoanything.com has it for $239.95 + free shipping. Still not cheap if it's a gimick.

The first tune upgrade I did on my truck was a Jet PCM, waste of money IMO. Does very little (timing mostly). I went from there to a Hypertech and it did more, but still a waste IMO. Third time was a charm with the custom tune, best bang for the buck.

i'm agree with Solman, i used to have a Jet Chip on a previous car and doesn't get as much as i was thinking the most bang for the buck is a test tune or computer retunning.

Thanks for the information on the Jet PCM. You just helped me keep from wasting $200+. What is the best place to get a custom tune from? Thanks.....Bill

That's a matter of opinion.

Many really like HP Tuners, many others like Westers as done by Tune Time.

I've got a Tune Time and love it!

PCM For Less charges $99 and works great. They are good to work with.
