Smile My New Muffler

I Just installed my Thrush Turbo Muffler (part #11713). It has a Nice 'Just Noticeble' deep tone, & an Impressive acceleration tone. The HP was Immediately noticeable, as some noticed as they were being easily passed along the highway. I am just awaiting the MPG increase. Overall, I am satisfied with this muffler, in case anyone was looking for a change. (Do not fret, it Has No 'irritating rattle' as one might expect with a 4cyl., or is it deafening on the interior which you Can still have a conversation or listen to your music without that annoying 'highh piitched raspberries' sound annoying you.)
Well, this was just some information for someone who wants a change that also sounds Good. (This is My opinion, I Do Not Care for the 'fart cannon' sound, or the obnoxiuos types in That category. I wanted a deep, low tone even If it Is Only a 2.4L [which I thought was going to be Impossible!], which is Exactly what I was looking for.)
If anyone has a different opinion, I am sure someone might Benefit from your input of choice of muffler/sounds. I Know not Everybody Has to Agree with Me! I thought I would be kind enough to share some insight on a subject alot seem to be considering.
Remember, I am only expressing My opinion on what I found I Liked & Understand Not Everybody has the same interests., So Please No Negative criticism on feedback or posts. If You were only trying to Help, You Would Not want some smart A$$ making comments derogatory to Your opinion.
Thanks for taking the time to read all this.
Good Luck to All & Remember, customize your HHR to Your Preference, & Most of all, Have Fun Doing It!!!

I'd like to hear that too...... (if possible to get a good video or sound clip) So, that's 2 1/2 inch in and out, did you need any adapters or was it a bolt on?

I agree with thegodfather. I put on a magnaflow and it was a little too noisy for me, so I added a small resonator just ahead and now it just right, noticible, deep but not noisy.

Red face My Muffler

Sorry people, I hit the 1 button too many times. You are right, it is #17713 2-1/4in/out. It was a clamp-on inlet, & welded the tip to the outlet. I will try to get some type of audio/video soon, but all I have now is just my moto-droid cell phone which probably Won't do it justice. Thanks for the Positive comments.
P.S. I found it on-line & picked it up at my local 'Advanced Auto' store.
You can look up 'Thrush Turbo Muffler', & look at the catalog sites & order them also. Hope that helps.

I have a 2010. Will this void my warranty?
