It actually says it only fits the L61 (2.2) and LE5 (2.4) engines, so it wouldn't fit the SS anyway. Wierd...

You pay for quality... This is an offical GM part which means it has a warranty, and it WILL NOT void your Manf. Warr. if you throw a code with any other brand intake, most dealerships will charge you $90 to reset the computer. When you look at it, it isn't THAT much more than any other intake, plus if you are buying an 08 the cost can be rolled into the price of the vehicle and included in your payment. I'll take some pictures when I get home, I wouldn't have gotten it but, being a dealership employee made the price very reasonable.

Sorry Karen, I didnt mean to jack your thread. That intake looks really good. I especially like the crinkle finish it looks cool, kinda like a cast iron skillet.
