Pics of my new/used CGS intake!

Got this from Big-j on Sunday, Its still purple for now cause I'm impatient... Thinkin about painting it satin black. So far so good. I bought the little stubby filter at autozone for 16 bucks... had a little rattle when idling but before I took pics tonight i just moved it up on the pipe a little more and its all good now. Gas mileage is better as well as the power... i like the sound of this one too...

I kinda like the purple--really "pops" against the SOM....

I also wanna try to use the rubber hose that supplied air to the stock air box for some kind of ram air set up. i fiddled with it tonight and there seems like there is enough room for the hose to go down next to the radiator and exit below and exit by the bottom of the bumper. that would be great but I will have to watch when rainy season comes and the flooding begins. DOH!
