So Just thinking about future upgrades to my HHR and A thought crossed my mind dies my 5 speed getrag have A LSD? I am going to guess that it doesn't Therefore has anyone added a Quaife LSD to thier HHR? The reason I brought this up is that I was looking over in the Cobalt SS site and there was a thread about one of thier 5 spd Trannies that did have a LSD already in it.

 

A transmission would not have a Limited slip differential. A trans is a trans and a diff is a diff. The differential distributes the power to the wheels after the transmission. I have an '06 with a 5 speed and the LSD was not an option that was offered.

 

The Cobalt SS that has the G85 LSD option has a different transmission, the F35. There hasn't been a LSD option in the F23 OEM. Note that the new HHR SS has the same F35 and LSD will be optional on that.

 

So I did see that Quaife does make a LSD for the F23 transmission. Here is a list of the transmissions that it'll Fit: http://www.autotech.com/quaife/index2.htm

 

Has there been anyone that has added a LSD to thier car.
