Below is the reply I received on my inquiry if they were going to offer a Hand Held Performance Programmer.......I told Al to check out this site and he would see a demand for it......

We will very probably do the HHR vehicle. I do not know if we will do the 2.4L engine or not. It really depends on the demand we hear about if we will or not. Typically on the small engines there is not the demand as there is for the larger ones. At this time I really do not know for sure.

Al

I'm waiting on a reply from Hypertech and will post it in this thread when I receive it.....

I do like the fact that you can change settings [ trans shift points/firmness,fans ,etc] But they will not give you the maximum HP and TQ that a tuner can . They also have to be taken out everytime you go to the dealer and if they write over the tune expect a nice charge from the vendor to fix your hand held box. I'm not bashing I'm just stating a point.

Thanks
Matt

Point taken.....I agree...but I like the ability to reset to default settings when going on long 200+ mi. trips...

Matt, I realize you are a Supporting Vendor,,,,and I did not do this to step on any toes....just looking for other performance options...

I'm not worried about my toes [ thanks ] I just want everyone to see it all . I wish I could give you the adjustability with our tunes to change things at will . If some one lives close to one of the dealers then we will do that and you can send it in for changes. I do understand you BTW I wouldn't hold my breath for these big companys it's all dollars and cents .
