Supercharger or Turbo Kit?
A nice 'How To' and lots of pics would be greatly appreciated by those of us considering such a mod....

I have been toying with thoughts of adding a turbo as well, then i start thinking something all together different.
If i had the money, i would get one of the V8's out of the impala SS.
I know i would need to sub-frame the front end and other weight mod's, but how many V8 HHR's are on the road?

A few. One is currently being built.

If i had the money, i would use the motor and transaxle out of the impala SS in it's stock form.
If i still needed more power, i would then look into a supercharger for it.
If you are the one doing the V8 mod, do you have pic's and details?
I would like to keep up on the V8 project, it is something i would truly like to do to mine.
The Impala SS V8 is getting the same mpg as my 2.4L, the V8 may get even better mpg in the lighter HHR.
