Total electical failure

This was about 6 months ago, in -15 degree weather. I was at home and my car started fine (i have a cgs intake). I had a check engine light on but I wasn't to worried. Later about half way to school my emergency brake light turned on, I thought it was a little weird but I kept going. In another mile or so all hell broke loose. The techom and speedo dropped to 0. Everything else electronic soon failed too. I was going up a quite steep hill in colorado springs, a very steep grade. I still had engine controll but I had no idea what my speed or rpm was. Finally I got to school and the weather got a little warmer later in the day. And the car worked fine. I never had problems again.

I suppose it could have been the fuses and relays under the hood, you might ned to pop that plastic cover off and make sure they are all secure, push them all down. Usualy the car just dies, I believe, but it couldn't hurt to check.

Probably an issue with the BCM. Take it to the dealer and have them pull codes.
