Power loss & cel today
I was on the 2nd leg of my round trip coming home from Duuth and I had to acel very quicky to get into traffic and of corse the road was a bit snowy, and and when I let off the acel pedel and slowed down the computer said engine poer loss and the CEL was on and was running really poor like someone pulled a plug wire off, no acel at all couldnot go over 40, so i pull over and check under the hood, coulnd see anything wrong, so I tried to drive to a service station, parked it for about 10 min and called my office to let them know I was having trouble, call the dealer in Duluth( told they were too busy today but if I could leave it), so I was about to go over there and leave it when I started it back up and the message was gone and the CEL was still on BUT I had the power back, so I think I will try to go home and tack it in there, ran fine, stopped 50-60 miles later to rest stop and then CEL went out, milage is still poor, but maybe it's time for a tune, Just turned 93k. What should I look for? Prob have the coolent flushed any way.

Check your local parts stores to see if they will scan for codes. You can usually find one that will do it for free. It's hard to help when you don't know where to start. Post up any and all codes and maybe we can help you out.
You are close to needing plugs but neither that or the coolant will be the cause of your CEL.

Don't know if you got it fixed yet, but when mine did the exact same thing it turned out to be a wiring issue. Apparently the wire to the throttle body motor or position sensor is loose at the computer or the wire is chafing somewhere. The dealership replaced my throttle body first, then after the problem repeated itself two more times, I laid down the law and told them to fix it right before they gave me the car back. They traced down the harness, checked for chafing, and recrimped the pins in the computer end connector. So far, no more issues. My issue would show itself after rough events like speed bumps or hard acceleration. BTW, they claimed the computer wasn't storing the codes after a restart, even though the CEL was still illuminated. As soon as the car was restarted, the power level would return to normal. I ended up driving the car to the dealership without turning it off so they could see how badly it was running, because every time they test drove it, it was fine.
