I bought the MOOG Part # K750012 Sway Bar Link Kit; 9.86" Center to Center.

They are the ones the cobalt guys use, and they have been fine for 10,000 miles.

Oh, BTW. Whilst I have been doing all of this work under the hood, I think that I have found the cause of the phantom clunk in the steering: the sway bar can shift left/right in the bushings. I have not investigated any further than observing that there is a clean area on the sway bar about 1.5 inch long outside the bushing. May be a sign of worn out bushing?

I buy links. Toyota (Camry, Avalon, Solara and Lexus LS300).
Length 260 mm, is 10 mm longer than the link HHR.
HHR-link bit rusty In The photo , I pulled it out of my suspension.

Heads are nearly identical.

The length and thickness of the threaded pin is the same.

Toyota thread a little smaller than the Chevrolet thread. But I think it no problem.

Want to know how much I paid? 900 rubles for a couple of good-quality Korean-made links! That's about $ 32. If the service experience will be successful, I'll buy a Toyota links in future.

Part number: 84780.

Gee, geg just a few posts back you were saying you couldn't trust cheap Chinese parts, but now cheap Korean parts are OK hehe.

Make sure the threaded shaft is the same diameter, so that it fits the holes snugly.

But different thread pitch doesn't matter if just bolting thru.

Let us know Geg, how they work out.
