Everyone likes different mods, but I like the stock lights, & chrome rings.

If I swapped for anything, I'd do 1959 Caddy tail lights 'frenched-in' in the oem holes.

Personally, I think the stock tail lights are one of the best looking things on the car, so it isn't for me. But I think it's neat though.

Hmmm, i kinda like the 55's, but they'd look better on a retro styled HHR, or even with just a rim change. I try not to knock anyone for their choices in mods, as you can see i got different tastes too .

yeah, wish i woulda just used the stock holes, coulda saved allot of time and money

I think they have potential but to install them as show they would look horrible.
it would look like you glued some crap to your nice HHR, it would be just decent looking if you molded them into your car, but if you were to do that you could just buy some patch panels from a 55-57 reshape them then weld them in for much cheaper.
as far a bolt on mod for someone without power tools or knowledge I dont think
this is something you wouldnt regret doing
