I always had skirts on my cars back in the '50s, thought they always added that extra "Something"! Along with spotlights,and a "Shaved" hood and rear deck! Almost forgot, lowering blocks on the rear springs too These skirts on an HHR add nothing and are plain butt ugly! That's my anyway !

Sindy with all due respect go out and look at your rear fenders. They are not like a PT that has a seperate wheel well. The door is part of the rear fender / wheel well structure. If you attach the skirts over your wheel wells the side effect is going to be not being able to open your rear doors.

Theres a cut made into the skirt to allow for opening the door. (it's not shown in that refrenced pic above)
