Anyone use "Plasti Dip" on your wheels?

This seems like a pretty cheap way to coat your wheels....and it comes off super easy. Wondering what colors are available?

Ive seen this in yellow and black and red..works great on tools..Im a bit of an rc boat guy and in the past used it to seal up hulls..the only problem I can see is how much u may have to buy for a good coating..the bottle it comes in(may come in other sizes I dont know)..that Ive seen only holds maybe a cup or so..the finish would also be very dull..but if its winter protection your after..it may work!!good way of thinkn outside the box!!

It actually comes in a spray now....most people say to be safe...2 cans will do a whole set plus more. It's only $7 bucks a can. It would be better to try this instead an actual paint....the plasti dip peels right off when needed.

that's a good price. The only place i could find it in the spray cans here wanted $18 a can!!! So Home Depot in the USA, here I come.

I wanted to try it on my rather nasty looking winter rims.

Three bar grille?

What about using this product to "make" a three bar grille by spraying it on the 2nd and 4th bars? Has anyone tried that before? I think it would be supper easy with no cutting of your grille required, and you could just peel off if you decide to reverse it.

That should work. I know a few people have done this but I don't know what product they used.

I think it would look like the grille one member did with black tape, link below. The spray is flat, so it should fade into the background.
