Question Anyone using the panel rubber mats in a non-panel?

I have to add some protection to the back of the rear seat when it's down. I have the part numbers for the panel rubber mats. I was wondering if anyone is using them in a non-panel and how the fit is. I may still just get a roll from Home Depot and make a single piece mat but I figured I'd ask first.

Anyone?

(I searched and didn't find an answer to this specific question.)

im using a set sold by a member here. not exact fit but cushyiness of rubber good for dogs. A piece of roll mat cut yourself will fit a lot better though for protection of exposed ares

I'd like to see some pics of a Home Depot mat if you do one.

I have used the panel mats since I got my HHR...hauling computers, printers, Costco
stuff, etc.. Doen't quite cover the seat back, top to bottom, but fits perfect in the rear cargo area.
Nothing slides...thick with a nice cushion effect.

I am thinking of doing the first. I'll post some pics once it's done. From the comments, I think the mat needs to be bigger than the panel mats to cover everything.
