Nice set-up Jesse!

I was thinking about doing a DVD like that but was worried about visibility and also how well you could see the screen from the back seat.

How's it working out?

I'm going to go with my emergency strobe lights, flashing high beams and LEDs.

i guess i'll say the $1.08 front lower grill, since someday it may save me much more $$$ than that.

This was the best mod. I have a four year old boy. He loves to go cruising with his Dad. He brings along his favorite dvd's, puts on his wireless head phones and away we go. We drove to Florida this past summer, the whole ride my son and 12 year old daughter watched movies and played play station 2. They were so entertained that they would get upset to make rest room and food stops. Visibility is not a problem, for me. I use my side mirrors. If you are still concerned, the head rest unit are just as good. If you put a drop screen make sure they use a piece of plywood to keep the head liner from sagging. Mine is centered and well secured. I also have the music set up were you can listen to it through the wireless head sets or through the stereo system. Hope this helps!

The best mod for my HHR was my birthday gift from my wife: my Reese Class I hitch. I needed it to set up a bike rack, because my old rack was playing hell with the paint between the rear wiper and beauty bar. Now that I have the hitch, I have a Graber rack I use to haul my bike to and from campus on a daily basis. I don't ever expect to be able to tow much of anything with it, but I think it makes a statement that I believe in my car's abilities.
