Crowbar.........Just do it.....You know you want it......lol

BTW........I want to do my valvecover like yours, prob.as bad as you wanna do the gauges......lol..... The only thing is I want to get mine powdercoated, so I either need to find another one and swap, or put the hhr up for a couple of days...Plus I'm still waiting on CGS (powdercoat also), Tires, Katzkins, and some othe stuff. Just not enough time for all these mods............lol.............Regards

Lucky for me a have a powdercoater about 5 miles from my house..(woo hoo)Yeah, I've tried getting a couple of valve covers off of wrecks, and everyone wants to keep motor intact....I can't blame them....I wouldn't part just the cover either. I gotta go the dealer in the morning, and the parts guy is a friend, so I'll have him shoot me a price on a new one. Who knows maybe I'll start a valvecover exchange program, for people in my position...lol

I kind of do that kind of stuff all the time....here's my suggestion....

Go around and find the place to do the powdercoat. Also, tell them it's kind of a special situation...you need the part in and out in XX hours. Or arrange the specific time based on the "coaters" schedule. Then schedule a time to bring them the cover (you need another vehicle for transportation). Take the cover in, pick it up 3 hours later and install. Works like a champ, for me.

Snoop....Thanks for the advice!!! I'll give that a shot, but I'm dealing with some real S L O W country folk that run this place. Now don't get me wrong I'm not bashing anyone that is country, likes country, or wants to be country. I'm just stating that these folks are simply from the country and are slow to get things done....lol
