thats what I was thinking....maybe if you got a good primer and put a few coats over the chrome it would work and look decent...

i was thinking that or just buying the replacement ones, seeing how they match, and if not good enough, paint them up. Chad painted his grille (at least i thought he did) so it seems like the mirrors would be a cinch

We picked up a set of these and they looked cheap to me so we sent them back. They are rough texture instead of smooth.

Did the cap texture match the texture of the arm that the mirror is attatched to?

I had a set of the smooth ones that ended up being overlaid in CF but I am pretty sure they match the mirror arms.

I will probably have them painted professionally, that spray paint you can get is junk. I had a guy do my Chevy emblem on my old car he made the coats nice and thick and did not chip one time.

I really didn't pay much attention to any further detail once I say the texture and knew they couldn't be painted. They probably were similar in texture to the arms.
