Blacked out lights
Blacked out lights
Finally had a nice day outside with no winds, rain or allergies, or even work!

I also did the carbon fiber stubby antenna. Next I am going to tint the windows more to 5% in the back.
And eventually custom headlights, I'm thinking about doing it with the Audi style lights at the bottom of the headlight.

Nice job !
Coats are to taste IMO , Make sure you spray clear on them, and they'll be as shiny as the paint. I just removed my headlight vht nite shades , As the winter salt , and rock chips were starting to show there damage bad, I'll be redoing them soon,(Batification).
Tails look like the day i did them.
I like the bumper refectors very nice. ( on my list )

did you get the tint on all of the light? it looks red around the edges still but that could just be how the light is hitting it.
i plan on doing my bottom reflectors soon, all of mine are tinted with window tint, just gotta find a way to get at them easily. Not a fan of spraying things on the car.

Thanks everybody, i'm pretty happy with the way they turned out. I used the VHT NightShades, i think i did 6 light coats, then about 3 coats of the clear coat.
I didnt notice until after I put the lights back in, but the top light on the left side, I didn't completely get the edges, plus with the light, it looks super red around the edges. When I get the chance, i'll pull them back out and paint the edges better and spray on a few more clear coat layers to give it more of a shine.
And with the reflectors, i just taped them off and painted them on the car.

now did you just spray the nightshades right over the lenses or did you have to wet sand them at all?? what exactly is the right way to do this i really want to do it to mine but never heard the proper way of doing it
