There's probably some Federal Law requiring cars to have those side markers! Why would you want to black them out anyway. They're kind of a safety feature. Makes the car a bit more noticeable from the side.

If you only use 2 coats of the VHT niteshades you should be just fine. You will still see light through the side and it will even still reflect! I used a transparent vinyl over mine. They still reflect and at night you barely tell they're even covered. But during the day they are DSM!

Cool question

I can't wait to see pics. Where do you purchase this stuff? Do they make other colors besides black? I would like a white spray to cover mine.

I put some pics in "my gallery" not the greatest but you get the idea.

I think those will fly about as well as the limo tints. If the cops are looking for something, they will definately be noticed and you'll probably get a "fixit ticket".

Considering he left the headlights and tailights alone. I bet he never gets stops for them.

I had dark lamin-x on my front turn signals and got a fix it ticket. I'll be putting some more on this weekend anyway.
