I've struggled with the same issue, as my panel is the same red, which looks great with the chrome, but I have never been a fan of much chrome on a car. I have decided to leave the chrome as is and see if adding custom wheels in chrome does as much for the overall look/feel as I think it will.

Ya know, I have seriously considered getting it leveled, but I don't really want it any lower than it is in the front. I just worry about winter driving with all the snow we get here.

if he were to do that I would recommend he did the dark grey on bottom... not top..

 

On Topic- Hell NO, leave the Chrome in fact Add some.

And as mentioned the HHR's do look Sharp Two-Toned.















I wouldn't Two-Tone my Black Panel, but if I ever got a second HHR, I Would do a Two-Tone on it.

 

nah personally I hate these things lol. but it's a daily def not putting alot of money into it cause that goes to my 2010 camaro and 02 trans am. gonna keep it simple.

I like White Panels myself.. probably why I have one..

 

If you hate them, why even bother?
