that looks like a unibrow. I agree with the comment that it takes away from the grille.

I'm middle of the road on this one. I'm big on functionality.............does it deflect bugs??

Maybe one of the clear Lund ones, left clear or painted body color might look a little less noticeable but give the functionality, assuming they actually work. I have never liked them on any vehicle so never tried one to know if they do anything.

Well I know its a matter of individual taste. But as far as the grill is concerned. You have to remove the grill and reinstall it over the bug deflector. It has the same curve and you see all of the grill.

I just installed it yesterday and I can only be sure that it does deflect some air.

I'm going to have mine for a long time so I'm really looking for protection. I do like it better without it but I'm looking long term.
I also think the color of your HHR comes into play in this case and in my opinion the Silverstone isn't to bad. I'll try it for a while and if it does not work.... It was easy on and even easier off.
